NVIDIA has announced an expanded collaboration with Infosys, a major global IT services company, aimed at helping enterprises worldwide integrate generative AI to boost productivity.
Through this strategic alliance, Infosys will gain access to NVIDIA's comprehensive AI Enterprise platform, including models, tools, and hardware like GPU systems. Infosys plans to leverage these resources to enhance its Topaz suite of AI services and solutions with new capabilities powered by generative AI technologies like large language models.
A key part of the collaboration will be establishing an NVIDIA Center of Excellence where 50,000 Infosys employees will receive training and certification on NVIDIA's AI technologies. This expertise will allow Infosys to better support its global customers across various industries in identifying and deploying impactful generative AI applications tailored to their specific needs.
NVIDIA's full stack of enterprise AI software like the NeMo large language model framework, Metropolis computer vision toolkit, and Riva speech AI will enable Infosys to enrich its offerings. For instance, Infosys intends to boost its video analytics platform for retail, integrate generative AI into its responsible AI toolkit, and advance its contact center solutions using NVIDIA's speech AI.
"Generative AI will drive the next wave of enterprise productivity gains," said NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang. "Together, NVIDIA and Infosys will create an expert workforce to help businesses use this platform to build custom applications and solutions."
By integrating a comprehensive AI ecosystem and focusing on employee training, the collaboration promises to offer business leaders, professionals, and investors a comprehensive suite of AI solutions that are as reliable as they are revolutionary. Importantly, the strategic emphasis on workforce training indicates a long-term commitment to developing a robust AI ecosystem, thereby offering a clear path for enterprises on their journey toward AI adoption.
